Edition Notes

Translation of the author's "Recueil des voyages qui ont servi à l'establissement et aux progrez de la Compagnie des Indes orientales", which itself was translated mostly from Izaak Commelin's compilation "Begin ende voortgangh van de Vereenighde Nederlandtsche geoctroyeerde Oost-Indische campagnie". cf. Brit. Mus. Catalogue.

The four voyages here given correspond to the first four in Commelin's compilaton.
