AgriScience is a student- and teacher-friendly book that blends physical and biological science with the fundamentals of agriculture. Of course, a broad interpretation of agriculture is used that includes crop and animal production, as well as horticulture, forestry, marketing, and processing. A major focus in the book is on using science to meet the needs of people. The coverage of the text has been expanded so that the Fourth Edition includes biosecurity and areas related to food safety and security.
