I think, too, of those of you who are in vocational ministry, and I want to reach out to you. Sometimes your precise role among the people of God and the true nature of your ministry is misunderstood. False expectations are placed upon you. You sometimes find yourself in an isolated position. Your lot is not always the happy one it should be. I want to reach out to you and share some of the joy I have found in vocational ministry. It might, also, be of some value to those of you who are seeking help from a vocational minister to see something of the relationship from his or her side."
