This is a book about a young boy named Ender Wiggin who is taken away from his tormenting family into a type of battle training in space called Battle School. As he undergoes training there, he is isolated from the other students, yet manages to exceed them all in skill. He does his best in all his exercises, in spite of the school personnel cheating and continuously changing the rules. As the war with an alien race called the Buggers escalates, the story leads up to a climactic battle in Battle school and after that, nothing will ever be the same for Ender, humankind or the Buggers.
