W.M. Gunn, B.D. Smalleburgh, Norfolk; on back fly-leaf is a pencil note claiming that this copy was a gift from Flaxman to the Rev. W. Gunn; copy 2 has binder's spine title: Compositions from the Hell, Purgatory & Paradise of Dante Alighieri.

Victoria University Library copy 2's paper has watermark date 1803 on 48 plates and LEPARD 1803 on plates 4, 7, 14 of the first group; copy 2 is trimmed to 25 x 35 cm.
