Excerpts

If you’re still waiting for permission, close this now.

I built this because I was done watching brilliant people burn out while hiding who they really are, and then finding myself at the edge of the crevasse, unanchored above the abyss, one slip away from spiralling into the exact same pattern.

Not just fatigue: dissociation.
Not just exhaustion: erasure.
I saw the warning signs. This is my refusal to ignore them.

Because real leadership isn’t taught.
It’s remembered.
And most have forgotten.

I built this to remind myself what it looks like when you hold power deliberately. In moments when I forget my edge, this is the steel I sharpen against.

Because power, passion and precision are integral to our human experience. Too many of us shy away from what we’re really good at.

Page 1, the opening of Chapter One and of the book itself. The first line sets the terms on which the book is offered; the rest of the page says plainly why it was written. Reproduced as the page sets it, line breaks included, because the cadence is part of the argument.
