"One hundred & ten copies of this book have been printed on the Columbian hand-press at The Gehenna Press, Lurley, Devon, during the late spring of 1982. The papers are hand made at Maidstone, Kent. The copies are numbered 1-89. Twenty-one copies have an additional impression of the coloured woodengraving printed from six blocks on Japanese paper; these are signed & lettered A-U by Leonard Baskin. All copies are signed by the artist. This is copy number"--Colophon.

Errata sheet

Bound, as issued, in white paper boards with title and image of an owl stamped in gold on front board. Housed in slipcase of marbled paper.

This is copy no. N of A-U, with signatures of Baskin and Kaplan.
