The imprint date is variously assigned to 1707, 1709, 1710 or 1711 (or more than one of these dates, creating ghosts) by the CBEL and other authorities: the advts. (p. 72-73, at end) list W. King's The art of love, published ca. Apr., 1708, as "In the press, and speedily to be publish'd."
Another issue, with altered imprint, adds the names of James Knapton, Ralph Smith & George Strahan before Bernard Lintot's.
