Lib. copy bound in white tawed leather with decorative rolled binding over wooden boards; remains of metal clasps. Covers are decorated with a center panel of thistle framed by small panels depicting the Virtues (Justicia--Lucrecia--Spes--Fides), within a frame of roses and leaves, framed by rectangular panels of scenes and verses from the New Testament, within an ornamental frame; all decoration appears to be roll-stamped.
Lib. copy is 3 v. in 1 (11, [1], 224, [36]; 248, [24]; 246, [22] p.).
Lib. copy has unidentfied bookplate (4 x 4 cm.) of former owner on front pastedown: monogram "TJA" printed in red and enclosed within a black garter carrying the motto "Usque fidelis."
