Didier Desroches is the pseudonym of Paul Éluard.
The book had been Paul Eluard's response to the shocking death of his second wife Nusch (pseudonym of Maria Benz). It was a tribute and and love letter to her. The photos of Nusch are by Man Ray and Dora Maar.
"Time overflows by Didier Desroches (Paul Éluard) was published in Toronto by Editions Carrefour Alyscamps, on November twenty-eighth 2018, in a limited edition of 25 numbered copies, hors commerce, signed by the translator. It's the first English language edition following the layout of the original publication. Five additional copies contain a postal commemorative issued by the French Post Office"--Colophon.
