The first complete English edition of an ‘eyewitness’ account of the Moorish conquest of Spain, supposedly translated from an Arabic manuscript discovered ‘in the Escorial’ by Miguel de Luna. The first edition of this historical forgery (or romance), titled ‘La verdadera hystoria del rey Don Rodrigo,’ was published at Granada, 1592-1600.
