Edition Notes
"Anthony Sharp" is a pseudonym found only in the almanacs published by Bailey.
Erroneously attributed by Evans to David Rittenhouse. The notes and calculations on the calendar and eclipse pages contain no resemblance to those in Father Abraham's almanack for 1778 (Philadelphia), which names Rittenhouse as its calculator.
Advertised in the Pennsylvania packet, Philadelphia, Jan. 7, 1778, the advertisement being dated Jan. 4.
Signatures: [A]⁴ B-C⁴.
