Ray Steam is a young inventor during Industrial Revolution who carries on the family legacy started by his father and grandfather. When his grandfather sends him a "steam ball" (a device that allows for grand, but potentially destructive steam power), Ray finds himself caught between his grandfather and his father, conservative inventors and greedy American business men, and revolutionizing steam technology or possibly destroying the world.
