Edition Notes

Wing (2nd ed.) R733
Published anonymously. Commonly ascribed to Pierre Allix. Cf. NUC and BLC.
"Advertisement" to pts. 2 & 3 of the appendix ([8] p.) forms a complete, unsigned quire bearing its own binder's instructions for placement "betwixt page 112 and 113." Catchword on p. 112 suggests p. 113 was originally intended to immediately follow, without the interruption of the inserted gathering, which in fact seems to have been entirely omitted from some copies. Cf. NUC pre-1956.
The appended documents are given in both English translation and in the original Latin (pts. 1-2) or Law French (pt. 3).
