Printed in single column, 37-38 lines per page. Spaces with guide letters for capitals. No rubrication.
Printed in Basel by Johann Amerbach before 1488. Amerbach presented a copy of this book to the Basel Charterhouse in 1488.
According to the ISTC, although this work was transmitted under the name of Pope Pius II and later included in his "Opera omnia," the author was Albertus de Eyb, who wrote the 'Rhetoric' between 1457 and 1459. The booklet may be taken as a partial first version of the 'Margarita poetica' since the Primus tractatus agrees literally with the first chapter of the Margarita and the Secundus tractatus corresponds in the main to its second chapter.
37-38 lines. Printed marginalia. Spaces with guide letters for capitals.
