Dated 1875 in Spencer, Isobel Walter Crane (London, 1875), p. 202, agreeing with Massé.

Consists of 6 bifolia printed on one side, 3 of letterpress and 3 of chromoxylographic plates, saddle stitched in pictorial stiff paper wrapper; middle bifolium is a single "centerfold" plate; leaves [1] and 6 pasted down to inside of wrapper.

Publisher's advertisement on back cover: "Routledge's shilling toy books" nos. 1-79 (with gaps); Crane's books (70-73, 76-79) separately listed at end.
