Comprising an engraved titlepage, engraved dedication, a four-page list of subscribers, an eight-page preface and eighteen final index leaves, which consist of three indexes, entitled: 'Index to the remarkable events before the birth of Christ', 'Index to the remarkable events after the birth of Christ' and 'Index of emperors, kings, high-priests, caliphs, popes, men of learning and genius, statesmen, warriors, &c.'
The dedication is to Philip Lord Hardwicke.
