Original t.p. reads: the tale of the four durwesh. Translated from the Oordo tongue of Meer Ummun of Dhailee by Lewis Ferdinand Smith, with notes by the traslator, illustrative of the manners, customs, and ideas of the natives of India. Calcutta, Printed for Radhanauth Day and Co., British-India Library, 1845.

Mir Amman's Hindustani translation of (Bāgh o bahār) of the Persian Kissah i chār darvish which is generally attributed to Amir Khusraw, but is ascribed by some authorities to Anjab or to Muhammad 'Ali Ma'sūm.
