"The paintings and drawings in Totem were executed on archival paper, in various media, including: watercolor, gouache, airbrush, pen, pencil, and foil stamping. These have been bound in full-leather decorated in many colors by means of dyeing, tooling, painting and affixing. The doublures have been painted with acrylic medium mixed with ground marble, further painted, and then waxed; acrylic medium and ground marble was also used to model the topographic reliefs on the covers, which were then painted"--Dealer's description accompanying the work.
