This quarter-sized fanzine contains a history of ginger, information on the health benefits and medicinal uses of ginger, and recipes for ginger ale- and beer-based cocktails. The majority of the zine is devoted to reviews of ginger ales and beers that Annie has tried in New York. Each review includes a hand-drawn illustration of the product; a rating on a scale of 1 to 5 ginger roots; and the size, sugar content (in grams), and price of each drink. There is a bibliography and suggested reading list.
