As knowledge production finds new intersections and assumes forms previously unseen, Research aims to be genuine, critical, offer insights, and create conversations through its coverage of creative research practices within an urban art school campus. Research, an SAIC student publication, includes contributions and dialogues from students, staff, faculty, and collaborators. This publication is a product of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's spring 2015 course, Publication Incubator, led by: Michael Miner, Adjunct Associate Professor, New Arts Journalism; Meredith Carruthers, Visiting Faculty; and Jonathan Solomon, Associate Professor and Director of Architecture, Interior Architecture and Designed Objects. Sponsored and supported through the Earl and Brenda Shapiro Center for Research and Collaboration.-from Google Books
