This book celebrates the collection of indigenous crafts Roberto Vilaclara made shortly before his death. Anahí Acevedo Rodríguez, edited and completed the work for publication. Jorge Castillo Balbueno and his brothers, Ulises and Zuleica, are fifth-generation polychrome clay artisans. Their great-great grandfather, Simon Orta, began the family tradition of creating the unique polychromatic ceramics from Izúcar de Matamoros, Mexico.
