"18 copies of these 81 aphorisms were printed by Karen Pava Randall at Wild Carrot Letterpress in Hadley, MA in the summer of 2005. Each of the accompanying shapes represents a consonant, which in combination spells a word on its respective (or its irrespective) page. The textures of said shapes were extruded from the 11th edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica's section on Probability. These alphabetic extrusions were designed by Karen Pava Randall and incarnated in polymer plate form by Box Car Press ... The Ehrhardt type was cast by Julia Ferrari & Dan Carr at Golgonooza Letter Foundry in Ashuelot, New Hampshire.
