Edition Notes
"The book comprises of my photographs of views within a labyrinthine fine-paper store set out in an analogously convoluted binding structure. A content yet to be inscribed on the surface of the depicted stacks of paper, with the intimation of the possibility of everything in a book and of all books contained in a single book, with in mind Stéphane Mallarmé's Livre, in the notes for which he writes 'A book neither begins nor ends: at most it pretends to.' The form is such that there is ongoingness, with the cover being the book and the book the cover - a paper-library-book in movement, continually renewing." -- John McDowall
