Niñas Fuimos es una colección de zines hecha en Santiago, Chile editado e ilustrado por Nata Cavieres Pasmiño reflejando la infancia de ciertas mujeres latinas. Cada zine tiene una serie de pinturas de acuarelas acompañados por poemas y escrituras explorando identidad y niñez con un tema distinto. La primera zine habla de la experiencia de mirar fotos de la niñez de uno. La segunda consiste en fotos de viajes a la playa hablando de vacaciones, verano y familia. El tema de la tercera es juegos, hablando de los tipos de juegos que jugaban como Sims y amigos imaginarios. El tema del cuarto zine es disfraces, explorando los diferentes aspectos de la identidad y el pasado. El tema de la quinta zine es retoñar y habla de tiempo, crecer y el futuro. -- Nayla Delgado

Niñas Fuimos is a collection of zines made in Santiago, Chile edited and illustrated by Nata Cavieres Pasmiño reflecting on the childhoods of latina women. Each zine has a series of watercolor paintings accompanied by poetry and writings exploring identity and childhood focusing on a specific topic. The first issue talks about the experience of looking at one's childhood photos. The second issue focuses on childhood photos of the beach and has writings discussing vacations, summer and family. The topic of the third is play, discussing the types of games they'd play as girls like Sims and imaginary friends. The topic of the fourth is costumes, exploring the different aspects of the past and identity.
