Edition Notes

"February 2012."

"The Eastern Neighborhoods community planning process was launched in 2001 to determine how much of San Francisco's remaining industrial lands to preserve and how much could be transitioned to other uses, especially residential. In 2008, four new area plans for the Mission, East SoMa, Showplace Square/Potrero Hill, and Central Waterfront neighborhoods were adopted. The resulting area plans contained holistic visions for affordable housing, transportation, parks and open space, urban design, and community facilities"--P. 1.

"Acknowledgements: Mayor; Board of Supervisors; Planning Commission, Eastern Neighborhoods Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC); Planning Dept."--P. 30.
