"This edition is limited to 702 numbered copies, of which copies 1-15 are bound in an inlaid goatskin binding, copies 16-55 are bound in full goatskin, copies 56-100 are bound in quarter-goatskin, and copies 101-700 are bound in cloth. Two copies, lettered 'A' and 'B', are reserved for the publisher. This is number [hand numbered]"--Title page verso.
Copies 1-100 include a 16-page inset of facsimiles. According to the publisher (in correspondence with Brown Univ. Lib., Nov. 2000) among these is an 8-page corrected typescript of an apparently unpublished article about Lawrence written by Williamson soon after Lawrence's death in 1935, not printed elsewhere in this volume.
