An important match is fast approaching, and Godfrey is desperately needed to ensure his team’s victory. Godfrey is seen going in a hurry with an old man, and after that he never returns. The clue is just one sentence asking for help traced on the telegram form in the room. Murder at Abbey Grange Sir Eustace Brackenstall was killed in his house by three robbers, and his wife was found bound by their maids. The case appears to be easily resolved due to the presence of witnesses. Sherlock Holmes felt played when he was initially mistakenly invited by Inspector Stanley Hopkins. However, Holmes saw something odd on the rope that bound Lady Brackenstall. Is Lady Brackenstall hiding something? The Mystery of the Second Patent Lord Bellinger, Prime Minister of Britain and Lord Trelawney Hope, Secretary for European Affairs came to visit Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson on Baker Street. They bring up a problem that is likely to lead to war in the region. An important letter from the head of a secret country has been found missing. Holmes suspects it was stolen by spies to be sold to another country. He planned to investigate one of the spies he suspected, however the spy was found dead murdered that morning. Sherlock Holmes realized there were other parties who might be looking for the letter as well. All four of these stories were included in the volume of The Return of Sherlock Holmes, first published in 1905.
