This book includes almost all of the drawings and watercolours from the "Highcliffe Album", as the Charles Landseer sketch-book was known, containing Landseer's entire output of work during his 18 months away in the Stuart Mission (1825-1826). The Instituto Moreira Salles at its cultural centre in Rio de Janeiro exhibited for the first time approximately half of those drawings and watercolours on Jan. 2010.
