| An innovative survey on architectural, artistic and cultural heritage of The Congregazione dell'Oratorio di San Filippo Neri included in the churches of the Marche's region in central Italy, from XVI up to XIX century. In the Marche was founded the first Filippini's church outside Roma, still living San Filippo Neri, in 1586 in San Severino (provincia di Macerata). Then about 26 other Filippini's churches were built in the region, holding a supremacy all over Italy and world. Architecture and masterpieces of art held in these churches represent a meaningful mirror of the Controriforma principles applied by the Papal Rule in central Italy in the Baroque Era. |
