A first novel about the lives of three men in New Plymouth, set in the 1940s, 60s, and 80s. George, Neddy, and Garth are gay, and their lives are shaped by the experience of living in provincial New Zealand. The author was brought up in New Plymouth. He lived abroad for 17 years, and is now a lecturer at Unitec in Auckland.
