"Wrought Iron" contains a collection of 320 photographic plates of European wrought ironwork from the 13th century into the 18th century. Each plate is captioned with a brief description, country of origin, and date. There is an introductory text which addresses the subject of period styles. The work shown runs the gamut from large grilles and gates to door hardware.
