Opening night of the Italian Opera given under the immediate supervision of the renowned director Max Maretzek. The Troupe will embrace all the superb artists under contract with this distinguished maestro, and the operas will be produced with every care as to scenery dresses, appointments, a largely augmented orchestra, and full chorus. First time in this city of Verdi's Grand Opera of "La Traviata" Signora Gazzaniga, Signors Brignoli, Amodio, Gasparoni. Tuesday evening, April 13th, '58 will be presented for the first time "La Traviata!" ...
