A complete mass for a particular day (the Ascension) has been exhibited in a four-column arrangement, in which the first two columns (on the left-hand page) contain the Latin text and a translation of the Roman mass (as used at Sarum) in England; the third column, the reformed service of the first English prayer book (1549); the fourth column, the Communion service of the Episcopal church.
