Dowty in BLC, but perhaps Matilda ("Myra") Browne, editor of Beeton's The Englishwoman's domestic magazine, for which she wrote a regular column called Spinnings in town, and signed The Silkworm. Cf. S. Freeman, Isabella and Sam, p. 257, 287.
