While on their honeymoon, hot shot short story writer, Bee-Eye and his new wife, the neurotic psychiatric social worker, Peggy, discover they don't like one another.

The studly, narcissistic director, Max, arrives to convince the self-destructive acctress, Devera, to return to LA to accept her academy award. Meanwhile, her brother, Thumper, deserts his wife and kid, and arrives on the scene in the middle of an acute identity crisis. When Thumper finds himself attracted to William, he understands why. The play finally focuses on the troubled relationship between Edward and William. Bee-Eye reveberates with the concerns and themes of Edward's own plays, and could entitled "Albee In Hell.
