Reproduces a ms. containing in the 1st part Norman Benedictine musical repertory and in the 2nd part an anthology of medieval music theory.The editor believes the 2 parts were originally independent codices which she dates respectively ca. 1175 and late 11th century. The first part contains a versified Office for St. Taurinus, a cycle of tracts, and a hymn for the Virgin Mary. The 2nd part contains writings of Boethius, Berno of Augsburg/Reichenau, Hucbald, Regino of Prüm, Bernelinus, and the complete Micrologus and Prologus in antiphonarium by Guido of Arezzo.
