A small collection of eight short illustrated pieces, compiled for the benefit of the Temporary Home for Lost and Starving Dogs (perhaps in conjunction with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), which was later known as the Battersea Dog & Cats Home. Most of the items in the collection are illustrated by William Parkinson; several are dated by him 1866.
