Work consists of a partial issue (pages 209-244 out of 205-248) of Art-Union (July 1, 1845) containing an article relating to the 1845 Bazaar in Covent Garden Theatre; copy was bound as a commemorative gift to members of the Council of the National Anti-Corn-Law-League.
Damage: page 215 torn at bottom.

Bound in decorated light and dark brown cloth. Upper cover stamped in gilt, red, green, blue, orange, and yellow. Lower cover stamped in blind.
Presentation copy, on second flyleaf: "[Printed] Presented by the Council of the League to [penned] Mrs. Jas.[?] Fisher [printed] in grateful acknowledgement of her zealous and successful efforts on behalf of the BAZAAR held in Covent Garden Theatre. London, May 1845."
Stamp on verso of last flyleaf: "J. Aked / Bookbinder / Palsgrave Pl. / Strand."
