Pamphlet arguing Honigberger's use of an innoculation of Quassite or quassine ... the bitter principle of quassia amara wood as a cure for cholera. It "destroys the cholera-flies in the bloodvessels". This had been disputed by the government of Bengal and Honigsberger had been called a "quack and humbug".
