Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in early blind-tooled calf rebacked in calf and modern brown goatskin. The title is stamped in gilt on the spine. Modern vellum pastedowns and free endpapers with an early front pastedown (vellum manuscript waste, in French, ca. 15th century[?]) now functioning as a flyleaf. Large initials rubricated in blue or red ink with flourishes. Initials in heading lines rubricated in red or blue, with alternating red or blue paragraph markers and yellow swashes through capitals. Several gatherings signed in early manuscript (alphanumerically). Manuscript waste sewing guards throughout. An early inscription is present on [20́] verso. The final leaf (blank) is wanting. Leaf dimensions: 282 x 202 mm. Acquired by the BPL Nov. 1939.
