Binding: vellum, lapped foredges. Author & title on spine label in gilt. Edges red. Both boards stamped with coat of arms in gilt (Scarborough quartering Savile), surmounted by an earl's coronet; cf. 7th and 8th earls of Scarborough, both named John Lumley-Savile, 1760-1835 and 1788-1856.
Ownership inscription of Lisa & Leonard Baskin, dated 1971, and his printed labels for Fort Hill and Lurley Manor on front pastedown.
