A. together with a selection of pictures by ancient masters; 1843, Catalogue of the works of Sir Joshua Reynolds, together with a selection of pictures by ancient, and deceased English, masters; 1846, Catalogue of portraits of illustrious and eminent persons in history, literature and art (with 2 leaves of lithographs). Occasional works of sculpture are included in exhibitions.

Each catalogue is introduced by a page describing briefly the make up of the British Institution for Promoting the Fine Arts in the United Kingdom together with the imprint. Following are lists of patrons, hereditary governors, life governors, and subscribers, and concluding with an "Index of names and places of residence of the artists exhibitors". Proprietors are listed with each work in the January catalogues, a List of contributors is provided in the June catalogues.
