This is a biography of John Stuart Holden, the minister and former Chairman of the Keswick Convention 1925-1929. The first chapter is a short biography with the following chapters being sermons by John Stuart Holden.

J. Stuart Holden (as his name is usually written) is also known as the owner of the only surviving First Class Ticket for the Titanic (now in a museum). His wife had to have emergency surgery and he was unable to make the ill-fated voyage. A picture of his ticket is contained in this book.
