In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Joshua Leavitt says that all the important part of Mr. Sawyeŕs speech can be found in the Emancipator from two months ago. He discusses the possibility of having M. de Felicés work on Emancipator translated, and Mr. Greeńs letter and the response of ́the board́ to it.
