Samuel May Jr. (Writer) tells Samuel J. May (Recipient) that he is trying to ́ensure the Syracuse meeting a proper delegation from this quarter. ́ William Lloyd Garrison will be there, and Wendell Phillips and Lucy Stone may also attend, but Writer cannot because he is busy with the Annual Worcester County Antislavery Fair. Writer can arrange Charles Lenox Remond, who is going to go to Ohio and Michigan as an agent of the American Antislavery Society, to attend the Syracuse meeting as well if Recipient wishes. At the end of the letter, Writer asks whether Recipient would like to subscribe to the English Antislavery Advocate (publication).
