At least one other edition of the Hortulus animae was issued by Clein and Koberger in 1513. That edition, which contains a longer title page, altered wording in the colophon, and different foliation, bears the date of February 9th.

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy bound in limp tacketed vellum with fore-edge cover extensions. A gilt super-ex-libris of the house of Fugger under the name Anthoni Fugger, dated 1586, is present on the upper cover. The super-ex-libris of Gyo rgy Lippay, archbishop of Esztergom, appears on the lower cover. The spine contains a manuscript label at its head. The unattributed woodcuts, with which this book is profusely illustrated, are all hand-colored, as are a majority of the initials.
