Deborah Weston relates occurances at the lecture of Alanson St. Clair in Fairhaven, particularly the dispute between him and Rodney French, president of the New Bedford Anti-Slavery Society, who declared that the Massachusetts Abolitionist was established in opposition to the Liberator. Deborah gives news of New Bedford acquaintances.
