These materials were deposited by Robert Babbitt, son of Walter E. Babbitt (1918-1989).

Walter E. Babbitt (1918-1989), was a well known Cape Cod historian and archivist. Mr. Babbitt was a collector of historical manuscripts and the owner of Walclif, an antiques shop in Harwich. His great interest in Cape Cod history is reflected in his collection of primary documents.
