Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Edmund Quincy tells of the letters read at the annual meeting of the Non-Resistance Society and of those which were not read owing to a lack of time. He mentions a service in the local church commemorating its founding two hundred years before.

In the postscript, Edmund Quincy says that the minister, Mr. Lunt, preached spiritualism, abolition, and non-resistance. Edmund Quincy sends an article on the Non-Resistance Society meeting and on Tuesday will send a short article about Nathaniel Colver.
